School requests for support include individual students, groups of students or school wide inclusive practices/projects. Individual requests for support need consent from whanau. Schools complete an online request for support form which details the current student concerns and the support they would like from the RTLB service. Cluster 16 holds weekly review and intake meetings where requests for support are prioritised and allocated.
Liaison RTLB can support the work of schools in the request for support process - eg help to clarify needs of students and to also explore other pathways for support.
